Welcome to my Blog!
Hello everyone and welcome to my first post!
I figure this blog will be a great start to share the information I find regarding traveling in order to prepare myself and others with the same mindset who stumble across this blog. This first post is going to be an introduction to share some traveling blogs I have been inspired by as well as some interesting facts I found about traveling and our planet Earth!
But before I start off, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Ana, I'm a 21-year-old college student and Florida native. I have lived in Florida my whole life and have an overwhelming desire to see the world. I have yet to travel to many places and have never even left the country! But as of right now my most recent adventures have been to Hawaii (I will attach a photo from my experience here), Puerto Rico and Louisiana. Upon graduating college, I have plans to travel the world. As mentioned earlier in this post, I hope to use this blog as a means of preparation before embarking on my journey.
So without further ado, I'd like to introduce other traveling blogs that have inspired me to make this blog about traveling:
Kiki has many tips and tricks for traveling as a young woman on a budget! I found her to be very similar to myself so she has turned into quite the inspiration!
Another great travel blog on how to travel while on a budget. Budgeting is the biggest concern for me so majority of my posts will be about traveling on a dime.
And lastly, to end this post I'd like to include some facts I found interesting about traveling:
- Canada has over three million lakes! Which is about 60% of the world's total.
- The shortest available flight is only 15 minutes going from Sint Maarten to Anguilla.
- The country of Norway is larger than Pluto!
- The Great Barrier Reef is the only visible structure from Outer Space.
I found this facts (and the rest on the list!) to be very interesting. Whenever I am in one of these areas, I'll make sure to drop these facts to everyone I know.
Anyways, I am very excited for this journey both through the creation of this blog and traveling itself.
That's it! May the journey begin......
